Dr. Christa Schmidt – Veterinarian & Owner
Dr. Christa Schmidt is a qualified Veterinarian since 1993. After qualifying, she started her career at a small animal clinic in Pretoria, before moving on to the Vaal Triangle after getting married. In 1998 the opportunity arose to fulfil a life-long dream to own her own practice and so Animaland in Vaalpark was born.
Her main interests is small animals and every staff member involved is totally devoted. Our premises are well equipped and the Doctors regularly participate in continuing education. This ensures that they are fully up to date with the latest practises in medicine and surgery standards. We have a wide range of specialists we can refer you to, should it be required in your particular case.
From time to time we do encounter unusual and interesting cases which keep us stimulated, for instance, tiger and lion cubs.
Her passion is simple - to provide the highest standard of care for her patients and to deliver that care in a personal and friendly environ- ment where her clients are given the time and understanding they deserve.
